Traders said increased offtake by flour mills against restricted arrivals from producing regions mainly led to the rise in wheat prices.
In the national capital,wheat dara (for mills) rose by Rs 10 to Rs 1,590-1,595 per quintal. Atta chakki delivery followed suit and traded higher by the same margin to Rs 1,595-1,600 per 90 kg. Atta flour mills also inched up by Rs 5 to Rs 845-850 per 50 kg.
