Wholesale pulses prices show mixed trend

The wholesale pulses market ended on a mixed note today as select pulses drifted lower on ample stocks while a few others edged up on scattered demand from retailers.
Traders said adequate stocks position on improved supplies mainly kept pressure on select pulses.
In the national capital, gram, gramdal local and best quality weakened by Rs 200 each to Rs 7,100-7,500, Rs 8,000-8,300 and Rs 8,400-8,500 per quintal respe;ctively.
Besan Shakibhog and Rajdhani quoted lower at Rs 3,300 instead of Rs 3,400 per 35 kg bag.
Urad and its dal chilka also fell by Rs 200 each to Rs 6,400-7,400 and Rs 6,700-6,800 per quintal. Its dal best quality and dhoya followed suit and enquired lower by a similar margin to Rs 6,800-7,300 and Rs 7,200-7,500 per quintal.

Masoor small and bold shed Rs 50 each at Rs 4,950-5,100 and Rs 5,000-5,200 per quintal. Its dal local and best quality traded lower by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,300-5,800 and Rs 5,400-5,900 per quintal.

Malka local and best quality too ended lower by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,600-5,800 and Rs 5,700-5,900 per quintal.
On the other hand, rajmah chitra went up by Rs 200 to Rs 7,100-9,800 per quintal.
Moong and its dal chilka local also edged up by Rs 100 each to Rs 5,100-5,300 and Rs 5,600-5,800 per quintal. Its dal dhoya local and best quality traded higher by the same margin to Rs 6,200-6,700 and Rs 6,700-6,900 per quintal.
