Wife of Delhi Police constable commits suicide

The 28-year-old wife of a Delhi Police constable allegedly committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling at her residence in Swaran Jayanti Park area of Ghaziabad district today, police said.
The deceased has been identified as Reena and her body has been sent for a post-mortem, a police officer said, adding that the reason behind her death was yet to be ascertain.
Neighbours told police that Reena's mental condition was not good for some time.
No suicide note has been recovered from the spot, the officer said.
Reena lived with her family in B Block of Swaran Jayanti Park area of Ghaziabad.

"We got information about the suicide around 4 PM. Police have recovered the body and sent it for a post-mortem," the officer said.
Policemen are interrogating her husband Robin, a Delhi Police constable. Police are yet to record statements of Reena's parents, who have been informed.
