"Our government is committed to ensure uniform development of all parts of the city for which work is on as per a planned schedule," she said at a function at Vishwas Nagar area.
Dikshit said various trans-Yamuna areas have already witnessed all-round development and her government would further enhance existing facilities in the areas.
The Chief Minister was speaking after inaugurating a fire station and community centre at Vishwas Nagar.
East Delhi MP Sandeep Dikshit and local MLA Naseeb Singh were also present on the occasion.
Currently the city has 55 fire stations and the number would be increased to 70 by 2017.
"The fire fighters are being provided the latest training to enable them to meet the difficult challenges. The government has acquired a plot at Budhpur Majra village to construct an advanced Fire Training Centre," Dikshit said.
