NE youths thrashed by landlord

Three youths hailing from north- east were beaten up allegedly by their landlord and his son in south Delhi, police said today.
The victims claimed one of them inadvertently spitted on the ground yesterday outside their house in Munirka and the landlord and others beat them on this, they said.
"When the landlord saw this (spitting), he began thrashing them with the help of the local people numbering around 7-10 men with wooden sticks and iron rods," a release from North-East Helpline said.
The victims Roney (25), Guite (23) and Samson (25) sustained injuries during the physical assault by the locals, it said.
A case has been registered and the landlord and his son were taken into custody.
