Amid the din, Chairperson Ramraoraje Nimbalkar announced that the Budget session will commence from March 9, 2016, in Mumbai.
As soon as the session began, Sunil Tatkare of NCP said the Central government has given compensation package to other states but excluded Maharashtra, which is "shocking" for the state.
He said the state government should announce complete loan waiver package for farmers immediately.
Manikrao Thakre of Congress also echoed the sentiment and soon opposition members started raising anti-government slogans and trooped towards the Well of the House.
Towards the end, when the House reassembled again, opposition members continued to stall the proceedings but chairperson Nimbalkar asked to Leader of the House Eknath Khadse to read out his speech.
Even when Khadse began his speech, sloganeering continued after which Nimbalkar prorogued the session.
