The personnel of 16 Assam Rifles seized nine detonators, three gelatine sticks, 125 gm of highly explosive powder and fuses from the woman at Gwaltabi village which is adjacent to Ukhrul district of the state.
The middle-aged woman, who was identified as a resident of Ukhrul, was arrested and handed over to police along with the explosives.
Security forces have been alerted by the authority in view of the Republic Day, a home department official said.
