Woman gangraped, son murdered; all five accused arrested

A 25-year-old migrant woman was allegedly gangraped and sold to a man for Rs 40,000 while her three-year-old child was strangulated to death, police said today.
Addressing a press conference here today, Superintendent of Police Nazneen Bhasin said five persons identified as Satish Kumar, Jaipal, Hawa Singh, Suraj Bhan Saini and Sandeep have been arrested for their alleged involvement in the gang rape of the woman and murder of her son.
Bhasin said the victim, a migrant had met a truck driver identified as Mukesh at a railway station few days ago, who took him to his village Khjoori here.

On December 10, Mukesh'a brother Satish along with his two associates Jaipal and Hawa Singh allegedly gang raped her and strangulated her child to death.
Thereafter, they with the help of one Suraj Bhan Saini sold the woman to Sandeep for Rs 40,000.
A case has been registered against all the accused, she said.
