Victim Manju Bala (30) allegedly poured kerosene over herself and set herself alight last evening, police said.
The woman's family in a police complaint have alleged that Manju, married in 2005, was allegedly being harassed for money by her in-laws.
According to the complaint, the woman's in-laws had asked her to get one lakh rupees from her family.
The complaint said that she refused to give into their demand and her husband Multan Singh, in-laws Veeru Ram and Bimla Devi, and daughter-in-law Sonia Devi allegedly started torturing and harassed her, which forced her to take the extreme step.
