Minister to meet Akhilesh to resolve problems of journalists

Uttar Pradesh minister Awadesh Prasad today said he would meet Chief Minister Akhilesh Yadav to solve problems plaguing the journalistic fraternity.
"I will meet the Chief Minister before December 15 to solve problems relating to journalists," he said.
The Social Welfare minister was addressing a conference, organised by the UP Journalist Association on the occassion of the National Press Day, here.
Basic Education minister Ram Govind Chaudhary, who also spoke on the occasion, said journalists are eyes and ears of society and have an important role to play in a democratic set up.
He exhorted scribes to maintain integrity while discharging their duties.
