Women tourists from Delhi molested in Amritsar, 3 arrested

Four women tourists of a family from Delhi were allegedly molested by a group of drunk people in full public view at Amritsar Railway station here, police said today.
According to police, the incident occurred yesterday evening and three persons were arrested in this regard after a complaint filed by a family member of the victims at Civil Lines police station.
In the complaint, he alleged that his four family members, including sisters, wife and niece, were cruelly molested in full public view at Amritsar railway station and even cloths of a girl were also torn besides physical thrashing.
After raising the alarm by people, the drunken accused fled the spot, he alleged in his complaint, police said.

Three persons, identified as Surinder Arora, Arjun and Sahil Arora were arrested under various Sections of IPC today, Police said.
The victims are resident of west Rohtas Nagar in Delhi.
