Workers take out May day rallies in Kerala

Rallies and public meetings marked May Day across Kerala with workers taking out rallies to celebrate the "International Workers Day".
Marches were organised by joint committee of central trade unions here and at other districts.
The Indian National Trade Union Congress (INTUC) also organised May Day programmes.
Unity of working classes was more relevant now than ever before to defend their hard-earned rights like job security, eight-hour working time and minimum wages, trade union leaders said during their speeches.
