Young couple found murdered

A young couple was today found murdered at a developing residential colony of the city, police said.
Dau Singh (30) and his wife Lalita (25) were found lying in a pool of blood in their shanty, they said.
Police said they are suspecting illicit relationship of the woman behind the killing.
According to ACP Durg Singh Rajpurohit, the assailants had used a sharp-edged weapon through which they had murdered the couple.
"But we have not found any weapon around the crime spot", said Rajpurohit.
The victims belonged to Bheem subdivision of Rajsamand district and had been living in the up-coming residential colony Kuldeep Vihar under CHB police station for over a year.

Dau Singh was a masonry labourer and Lalita used to work as a domestic help in the nearby houses.

The incident came to notice when the labourers living around found the children of the couple playing outside the shanty with no sign of their parents around.
"Locals informed the police immediately and we rushed to the spot", Rajpurohit said.
"Both husband and wife were in found in a naked state and the traces of semen were found on both their bodies," he said, adding, that Dau Singh was a habitual drunkard.
"We have sent the bodies of the victims for post-mortem and are checking the call details of the cell phone of the victims," he said, adding, that the possibility of rape with the woman cannot be ruled out either.

"Though, the husband himself was in semi-nude state, but post-mortem report will divulge more details", he said.
