A documentary on Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan made by Teri McLuhan was screened on day two of Ladakh international film festival(LIFF) here.
"I am honoured to be here and thankful to Teri McLuhan for screening the remarkable journey of Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan a man whose contribution is remembered even today. We owe you for your perseverance that you gave 22 years of your time to make this film. We greatly value this," Afghanistan's Ambassador to India Abdali said last night before the screening of the film.
He feels a large number of people followed him as he worked for the betterment and he had support from grass root level.
"What happens in Afghanistan affects those in Pakistan, India and vice versa. The young leaders today must work hand in hand to adjust the many challenges of our times and region including radicalism, prejudice," he added.
