Upon receiving complaint from a girl, the Cyber Cell of the Crime Branch of police here yesterday arrested Deepak Gour, a resident of Nababgunj, they said.
Posing as an official of a firm, Gour befriended several girls on Facebook and Whatsapp, Sub-Inspector of Cyber Cell Manik Chand Patel said.
Gour then used to obtain pictures of girls by luring them with job offer and then photo shopped their pictures to blackmail them for money, he added.
A mobile phone, three SIM cards, dozens of fake email ids, indecent photos of girls along with their phone numbers were seized from the youth, he said.
