The court of Additional District and Sessions Judge, Manisha Batra held the youth, Amit, guilty of raping the girl, a resident of a village in Delhi, and awarded 10 years imprisonment besides imposing a fine of Rs 5,000.
According to the prosecution, on May 16 last year, the convicted youth pulled the girl, inside a car while she was standing outside her college gate at Khanpur Kalan here and raped her in a nearby field.
After raping her, he dropped the girl at the college gate.
