Youth held for intending to insult modesty of Dalit panch

Police today arrested a youth for his alleged indulgence in an act which intended to insult the modesty of a Dalit woman Panch of Rojka village Panchayat.
Jaggu Yadav, a resident of Phadni village, took out a photo of the woman panch from her husband's mobile phone and "distastefully" circulated it among the villagers yesterday, police said.
The woman panch felt piqued and filed a complaint.
A case under relevant sections of IPC and SC/ST Act was registered against the accused, according to police.
Yadav was produced before a local court which remanded him to judicial custody.
