Youth injured in grenade blast in Pokhran

A 24-year-old man was injured after a hand grenade lying abandoned in the pasture land at firing range of Army in Pokhran went off, police said today.
The injured, identified as Mohammed Sharif was moving with a herd of goats for their grazing when the grenade went off yesterday suddenly after he touched it, police said.
Victim having splinters on face, in stomach and limbs has been admitted to a hospital in Laathi village, they said.
Army was probing the case at its level.
