Yuki on threshold of singles top-100, touches career-best 104

Yuki Bhambri is knocking on the doors of top-100 as the 23-year-old youngster today jumped 21 places to achieve a career-best singles rank of 104, thanks to his runner-up finish at the Taiwan Challenger.
Yuki is in terrific form as he had won the Shanghai Challenger before Davis Cup tie against Czech Republic and earn 75 ranking points after a runner-up finish at Taiwan Challenger yesterday.
In two weeks, he has climbed up 41 spots on the ranking ladder and one more good performance will help him get into the coveted top-100 bracket.
He has opted to rest this week and will begin his quest for top-100 at USD 125000 Tashkent Challenger next week.

Meanwhile, Somdev Devavarman slipped further to 171 after losing five places but Saketh Myneni gained a place to be 198.
In the doubles, Rohan Bopanna remained unchanged at 12, country's highest ranked player.

Leander Paes lost two places to be 35. Purav Raja was the third Indian player in top-100 at 92.
Divij Sharan and Saketh Myneni, who won the Izmir Challenger, made places and are ranked 132 and 136 respectively.
In the women's rankings, Sania Mirza consolidated her number one rank with win in Guangzhou Open.
