SMEs hope to reap big gains from CII tourism festival
CII (Northern Region) will organise an international tourisim festival in Chandigarh from December 5 to 7. Small- and medium-scale hospitality players in the north hope to reap big gains from the fair.
Manmohan Singh, director of Hotel Aroma and president of CII Chandigarh Council, said the boom of the past few years had prompted hospitality players to invest liberally in expansion. However, the slowdown in the recent past had undermined revenues and expansion projects are hanging fire.
