Bt To Launch Virtual Education Academy

British Telecommunications (BT) is partnering with Asian business schools to launch a virtual executive education academy. Called the BT Academy - Asia, it aims to train executives who are from BT's joint venture (JV) and alliances in the Asia Pacific and Japan. Its partners include leading busienss schools in the Asia-Pacific region such as Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore, Instead Academy in Singapore and the Henley Management College among others. It is funding the academy with the goal of building and enhancing its intellectual capital. The academy will help all executives of BT's alliances in India, leverage its international expertise as well as understand the business, cultural, and economic context in which Asian business operates, stated a press release.
