Fashion social network Roposo has appointed Anand Jha as head of design and Saurabh Khullar as head of sales. Anand will look after the entire user interface and user experience. The IIT Delhi alumnus has worked as a mentor and guest faculty at design schools in IIT Delhi and Ambedkar University's School of Design, and was previously associated with Delhivery as senior manager-technology. Khullar, who has experience in sales and marketing across FMCG, telecom and digital media sectors, will be responsible for setting up monetisation channels across India for Roposo.

On a creative journey

Volocity has appointed Jaideep Singh, the erstwhile business head, integrated network solutions, of Viacom18, as managing director. Singh assumes his new role with Volocity as international creative and brand development company embarks on a global expansion into Asia Pacific and the Middle East, to guide the company's entry and growth in new markets. As part of its global footprint in creative content, Volocity is also preparing to announce their India JV partner soon.

Marketing real estate

Real estate developer Lodha Group has appointed Viral Oza as chief marketing officer. Oza joins Lodha from the Bennett Coleman & Company where he was working as director of marketing. Prior to this, Lodha was at Nokia/Microsoft since 2008 serving as marketing director. He was also a member of the India leadership team.

Leading the brand

Internet and technology conglomerate LeEco has appointed its founder, chairman and chief executive, Jia Yueting as chairman of the board and the nominating committee of leading smartphone maker Coolpad. The new appointee said LeEco and Coolpad would adopt a dual-brand strategy, where the two brands co-exist and target different market segments. The two will also collaborate extensively in resources sharing, business development as well as technology research.
