Cellular Operators Association of India (COAI), a lobby of existing GSM players, today invited new telecom players with valid licences to join them and work towards providing world-class services in the country.

"We will be happy to take them into our fold. In fact, some of the new players have approached us," COAI officials said.

COAI, which is currently headed by Idea Cellular Managing Director Sanjiv Aga, will have a new chairman from Vodafone-Essar, the officials said.
