Zensar Akibia was recently named Extreme Networks' 2010 Top Technical Performance Platinum-Level Partner for the second consecutive year. Zensar Technologies--provider of information technology (IT) and business process outsourcing (BPO) services had recently announced the acquisition of US based Akibia Inc in December 2010.
Akibia is one of the leading providers of consulting, integration and support for data center apart from network and security solutions provides design, implementation and round-the-clock support of Extreme Networks' high-performance converged with Ethernet solutions. Extreme Networks had recently recognised Akibia at an event in San Diego for its strong customer relationships and talented engineering team, which has far exceeded certification requirements.
The combination of Akibia and Zensar will allow the company to offer its customers in the United States and Europe a wide-range of solutions for infrastructure management and support, security and compliance and risk management by building on dual-shore capability. The merger extends the reach and breath of Zensar's remote infrastructure management (RIM) offshore services for global clients by leveraging Akibia's proven data center services in the United States and Europe.
