Telecom equipment maker Nokia Siemens Networks (NSN) today said it has won a $300-million deal from mobile operator Aircel, a few days after it bagged a big deal from country's largest operator Bharti Airtel.

NSN said the four-year contract would see it supply GSM equipment and also roll it out for Aircel, an unit of Malaysia's Maxis  Group.

Last week NSN had won a $700 million deal from India's top telecom operator Bharti Airtel.

In a separate statement Aircel also said it has given an over $300 million gear and services contract to NSN to help the telco roll out services in Haryana, Punjab and Rajasthan.

Aircel is expected to roll out services in these three circles in April.

Aircel Chief Operating Officer Gurdeep Singh said Nokia Siemens Networks has earlier supplied a GSM network and related services to Aircel for the cities of Delhi, Kolkata and Mumbai.
