Satyam bags multi-million dollar contract from INVISTA

Satyam Computer Services Limited has bagged a major contract from INVISTA, a global leader in the polymer, intermediates and fibres business, to run their global application maintenance system operations for their enterprise platforms.
 
The contract will initially run for three years with an option to extend further, according to a press release.
 
Under this agreement, Satyam will provide INVISTA application maintenance support for five clusters across the globe covering SAP technologies.
 
The contract also includes 24x7 global multi-lingual helpdesk support for their global enterprise applications to be provided by Nipuna, the company's BPO subsidiary.
 
Speaking of the contract, Subu D, director and senior vice-president (manufacturing and automotive businesses), Satyam Computers, said, "We are delighted on our engagement with INVISTA and the future prospects of our relationship. This win further reinforces Satyam's leadership position in providing integrated outsourcing solutions to our global customers, which are of multi-year and multi-million on turnkey basis as against the global multinationals. We bring in our domain, programme management, global delivery model capability and technology leadership to provide value to our customers."
 
The scope of this fixed bid project includes the As-is run and maintenance of the five ERP instances of INVISTA, which at present span US, Mexico, Europe and Asia.
