Subex Systems, a telecom software product company, has announced the availability of its Revenue Assurance (RA) solution, INcharge, on the Teradata Enterprise Data Warehouse platform. INcharge RA Solution belongs to Subex's Revenue Maximization suite RevMax.

The performance and architecture of INcharge has now been crafted to leverage Teradata's enterprise data warehouse (EDW) and aims to offer telcos improved decision making capabilities and will also now benefit from improved data exploration and pre-processing of data for high usage and data analysis.

"Porting our Revenue Assurance solution INcharge to the Teradata warehouse is a significant milestone in our product's evolution since telcos would now be able to derive enhanced benefits and an improved ROI arising out of near-real time analysis of detailed customer and network data," said Subash Menon, President & CEO, Subex Systems.

"Scalability of data warehouses and associated applications is one of the key challenges faced by carriers worldwide related to revenue assurance." says Robert Segat, Vice President of Communications, Media & Entertainment Global Industry Consulting for Teradata, a division of NCR Corporation.

"Leveraging the strengths of the Teradata Warehouse and industry consulting with the multithread architecture of Subex allows our customers to know whether their network is performing as expected, put more revenue to the bottom line and resolve billing disputes much faster."

INcharge is an end-to-end Revenue Assurance solution that interfaces with a variety of support systems and network elements to enable it to process usage information, track discrepancies and identify potential revenue leakages across the entire OSS chain of a telecom operator.
