Mobile phone manufacturer Wynn Telecom, part of the Delhi-based SAR Group company, is aiming to sell 30,000 GSM handsets in Andhra Pradesh by October this year.
Launching the company’s seven dual-SIM mobile phone models here on Tuesday, Naresh Nayyer, director (channel relations) SAR Group said, “Hyderabad has a lot of market potential and we are aiming to capture a 5 per cent market share in the state by December 2010.”
Wynn is targetting of selling 500,000 GSM units in the country by the end of this year.
“Wynn will spend Rs 170 crore on a multimedia campaign in 20 channels across the country from next month and we are aiming to be one among the top three mobile handset manufacturers in India by June 2011,” Kapoor added.
