Digital infrastructure and IT services firm Invenia expects to grow its revenue by around 40 per cent to Rs 2,000 crore over the next three years, driven by rising demand for connectivity from data centres and government projects, a senior company official said. Invenia Vice Chairman and Non-Executive Director Ankit Agarwal told PTI in an interview that the company sees a multi-billion dollar business that will be largely driven by influx of data centres and government projects like BharatNet to boost connectivity. "We are looking to take the business from about Rs 1,300 -1,400 crore of revenue this fiscal year to closer to about Rs 2,000 crore in about three years time," Agarwal said. He said that the equity capital of Invenia was around Rs 907 crore and its asset value was close to Rs 2,800 crore as on March 31. "We have a very healthy order book. Domestic telecom gear maker Tejas Networks posted a consolidated loss of Rs 193.87 crore in the first quarter ended June 2025, mainly due to a decline in sales, the company filing said on Monday. The company, which supplied 4G gears to state-owned BSNL, had posted a profit of Rs 77.48 crore a year ago. The consolidated revenue of Tejas Networks plunged about 87 per cent to Rs 202 crore during the reported quarter from Rs 1,563 crore in the June 2024 quarter. "We won orders for our routers for Bharatnet Phase 3 and optical equipment from private operators in India. Our shortfall in revenue was due to delays in the receipt of a few purchase orders, including the expansion order from BSNL," Tejas Networks COO Arnob Roy said in a statement. Telecom gear maker HFCL Ltd on Monday said the company along with its consortium partners has been declared the lowest bidder for optical fibre-based broadband network projects worth Rs 13,000 crore under BharatNet Phase III for UP East, UP West and Punjab circles. The company placed bids for UP East and UP West through consortium partners and alone for the Punjab circle. "HFCL-Rail Vikas Nigam Limited (RVNL)-Aerial Telecom Solutions Private Limited, a Consortium has been declared as the Lowest Bidders by Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL), for bids valued at around Rs 6,925 crore to provide middle-mile network in Uttar Pradesh (East) and Uttar Pradesh (West) under the BharatNet Phase III programme," the company said in the filing. The Department of Telecommunications (DoT) has proposed not to monetise rural broadband network infrastructure built under Bharatnet project and plans to replace it with alternate assets to achieve its target fixed under the National Monetisation Pipeline (NMP), sources said. State-run Bharat Broadband Network Limited has deferred bid dates for Rs 19,041 crore BharatNet broadband tender to September 14 after potential bidders raised more than 2,000 queries on the project. An official source told PTI that the bid dates are likely to be extended further as the queries need to be vetted by the Department of Telecom as well and the entire process may take a few weeks. According to the information published on BBNL, the bid date has been deferred from August 24 to September 14 as of now.
