The search operation to track down three Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) terrorists in a forested area of Jammu and Kashmir's Udhampur entered its third day on Saturday amid heightened aerial surveillance, officials said. The cordon and search operation is being carried out by a joint team of security forces. One terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir's Kishtwar district on Friday while a separate operation to track down a group of three terrorists is underway in Udhampur district, Army officials said. The UN Security Council's Counter-Terrorism Committee has agreed on guiding principles for preventing and detecting the use of new and emerging financial technologies for terrorist purposes, taking forward commitments made by the UN body on combatting terrorism during India's tenure in the Council. Earlier this month, the Counter-Terrorism Committee (CTC), under the chairship of Algeria, agreed upon the Algeria Guiding Principles'. A website dedicated to facts about Hinduism, run by man from Pune in Maharashtra, has received a comment from a person issuing threats about a bomb blast in India and to kill Prime Minister Narendra Modi, police said on Wednesday.
