Realty firm Brigade Enterprises sold properties worth Rs 7,847 crore last fiscal, an annual increase of 31 per cent, on better demand for its residential properties. In its latest investors presentation, Bengaluru-based Brigade Enterprises said that the company achieved "pre-sales of Rs 7,847 crore in FY25, a growth of 31 per cent over FY24". Its sales bookings or pre-sales stood at Rs 6,013 crore in the 2023-24 financial year. As per the presentation, out of the total pre-sales in 2024-25, Brigade Enterprises sold residential properties worth Rs 7,567 crore and commercial properties valuing Rs 280 crore. Its pre-sales volume for 2024-25 stood at 7.05 million square feet. The average realization stood at Rs 11,138 per square foot during 2024-25, an increase of 40 per cent over FY24, driven by the launch of premium projects. Godrej Properties acquired 12 land parcels during April-December period of this fiscal to develop housing projects worth Rs 23,450 crore, and plans to buy more in the ongoing quarter to expand business amid strong consumer demand. Godrej Properties acquires land outright and also partners with landowners, under new business development. In an interview with PTI, Godrej Properties Executive Chairperson Pirojsha Godrej said the "business development was very strong during December quarter". The company signed new projects with a total booking value potential of nearly Rs 11,000 crore during the third quarter of this fiscal, he said, adding the business development crossed Rs 23,000 crore during April-December. "We had guided for Rs 20,000 crore, so we've already crossed full year guidance for business development," Pirojsha said. In its latest investors presentation, Godrej Properties informed that the company has added 12 projects with a total estimated saleable area of 169 lakh .
Sebi on Monday said it has scheduled an auction of 23 properties belonging to nine firms, such as Tower Infotech and Vibgyor Group of Companies in February, aimed to recoup funds illicitly collected from investors. Additionally, GBC Industrial Corporation, Waris Group, Pincon Group, Kolkata Weir Industries Ltd (KWIL), Annex Infrastructure India, I-core Group and MPS Group were the other firms whose properties will also be auctioned. The process for the sale of the companies' assets has been initiated by the markets watchdog following the orders of Calcutta High Court. The properties include plots, apartments and buildings located in West Bengal. It will be auctioned at a reserve price of Rs 55 crore, according to a notice issued by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi). Justice Sailendra Prasad Talukdar has been appointed as the one-man committee for liquidating the assets of the firm and repaying the investors. Capital markets regulator Sebi has said it will auction 13 properties of five companies, including Sunheaven Agro India and RaviKiran Realty India, along with that of promoters and directors on January 22 to recover money illegally collected from investors. The other firms whose properties will be auctioned are Just-Reliable Projects India Ltd, Orion Industries, and Rakhal Bharoti group of companies. The properties will be auctioned at a reserve price of Rs 15.08 crore, according to a public notice issued by the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) on Monday said. These assets include land parcels in West Bengal and Jharkhand. Further, Quikr Realty has been engaged by Sebi to assist in the sale of these properties. Of the 13 properties, seven are related to Rakhal Bharoti group of companies, two each of Orion Industries Ltd and Just-Reliable Projects India and one each of Sunheaven Agro India, and Ravikiran Realty. Capital markets regulator Sebi will auction as many as 10 properties of Bishal Group of companies on November 30 to recover money that was illegally raised by the firms from the public. These four firms are -- Bishal Abasan India Ltd, Bishal Distillers Ltd, Bishal Agri-Bio Industries Ltd, and Bishal Horticulture and Animal Projects Ltd, according to a public notice issued by Sebi last week. The 10 properties put on the block are vacant lands and a residential property located in West Bengal. Total reserve price of these properties is pegged at Rs 14.4 crore, the Securities and Exchange Board of India (Sebi) said in a notice. Inviting bids for the sale of recovery proceedings against the companies and its promoters/ directors, Sebi said auction of the properties will be conducted through online mode on November 30 during 10.30 am to 12.30 pm.
