The Pune police have arrested the grandfather of the 17-year-old minor who allegedly fatally knocked down two persons with his Porsche for alleged wrongful confinement of their family driver, an official said on Saturday. The teenager's father Vishal Agarwal, who is in judicial custody in connection with the car accident, has also been named in this case, he said. A day earlier, Pune police chief Amitesh Kumar had said that an attempt was made to establish that the high-end car was not driven by the minor. On a complaint by the family driver of the juvenile, the Yerawada police have registered a separate offence against the teen's grandfather and father, he said. The two have been booked under IPC sections 365 (kidnapping with intent secretly and wrongfully to confine a person) and 368 (wrongfully concealing or keeping in confinement), he said. Pre-owned luxury car seller Big Boy Toyz on Wednesday said it aims a topline of Rs 600 crore in the coming financial year, with one-third of this revenue coming from Karnataka. The company also announced the opening of its first dealership in Bengaluru and the fifth overall in India on Wednesday, which would offer an extensive range of high-end luxury brands including Audi, BMW, Mercedes-Benzes, Bentley, Rolls-Royce and Porsche. Till now, the company was retailing the pre-owned cars online in the state. Besides, Bengaluru, Big Boy Toyz (BBT) has outlets in Delhi, Mumbai, Hyderabad and Ahmedabad as well. The opening of an outlet in Bengaluru is not just an expansion but a significant step towards a revenue target of Rs 600 crore in FY25, Big Boy Toyz said in a statement. Automobile Lamborghini is expecting luxury supercar segment to see double-digit growth in India this year, driven by improving infrastructure, rising population of ultra high net worth individuals and other factors, its country head Sharad Agarwal said on Thursday. Italian super sports car maker Lamborghini on Thursday launched Urus Performante in India with price starting at Rs 4.22 crore (ex-showroom). The launch of the model comes shortly after its global premiere happened this August. The Urus has been instrumental in opening new markets driving growth for the brand in India and we are therefore delighted to introduce it to our customers," Lamborghini India Head Sharad Agarwal said in a statement.
