Zee Entertainment merger expected in 'months ahead': Sony Group

Japan’s Sony Group said its  Indian unit’s merger with Zee Entertainment Enterprises is expected to be completed “in the months ahead.” 

The transaction was initially expected to be closed by the end of September, it said in a statement to the American stock exchanges. 

The company said it’s continuing to assess the impact on consolidated financial performance of the company.
