GNFC begins commercial production of TDI at new site

Gujarat Narmada Valley Fertilizers & Chemicals Ltd (GNFC) has begun commercial production at its new 50,000 MTPA toluene di-isocynate (TDI) plant in Dahej. GNFC has informed BSE that 50,000 MTPA toluene di-isocynate - II project at Dahej established by the company has been completed and the commercial production has been declared with effect from March 24, 2014.
 
The company claims to be the only producer of TDI in South East Asia and the new capacity expansion of TDI at Dahej will further consolidate GNFC position in the region.
