Varanasi (Uttar Pradesh), Dec 10 (ANI): Amid the on-going controversy over Triple Talaq, a latest incident from Banaras Hindu University added spark to the fire. Questions on Triple Talaq, Halala and Alauddin Khilji were asked in BHU's History paper for M.A. Students of the University alleged that University administration is trying to impose ideology on students in the pretext of such questions. They added that such things must first be taught to give students a clear picture. On the other hand, Assistant Professor of BHU Rajiv Srivastava said these facts are part of medieval history and automatically become part of syllabus. "Why do Aligarh Muslim University and Jawaharlal Nehru University ask questions on child marriage and Sati system? Islam also has demerits which must be raised.
