Hapur gangrape case: Congress slams UP govt, says rapists will get 'acche din' during BJP's rule

New Delhi, May 14 (ANI): Congress slammed Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led Uttar Pradesh government for increased crime against women in the country. Congress national spokesperson Jaiveer Shergill attacked on BJP and UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath over a woman in Hapur who set herself on fire after being gangraped and turned away by UP police. Shergill said, "The crime against women has increased in past 5 years according to the data by NCRP. Most shocking thing is that, many times BJP worker and legislator themselves are culprit in these disgusting crimes."
