PM Modi urges electorate to vote in large numbers in West Bengal, Assam

New Delhi, Apr 04 (ANI): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday urged voters in Assam and West Bengal to vote in large numbers. Prime Minister Modi tweeted, "Urging all those voting in West Bengal and Assam today to vote in large numbers. Young friends in particular must exercise their franchise." The first phase of polling in West Bengal on Monday witnessed 31 percent of the electorate casting their votes till 11 a.m. while a 19 percent voter turnout was recorded in Assam.
