Tapping the Satcom Wave
Many business groups--domestic and international—will enter the Indian satcom space once the last mile clearances are granted. The goal is to provide satellite-based broadband connectivity to some of the rural and remote areas in India and complement the terrestrial services. Recently, SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, who’s among the satcom aspirants, raised issues linked to the long wait for security approval, triggering a debate on the subject.
