BS photographer bags award

For the second consecutive time in the same year Business Standard photographer Priyanka Parashar has claimed the “Best Photojournalist” award presented by Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week.

Aimed at recognising creativity on the ramp and at the venue event, Parashar took home the trophy and the prize money of Rs 10,000 for her stunning black-and-white group shot of models on the ramp at the Nikhil & Shantanu spring/summer collection showing for 2009. Previously, feature photographer Parashar had won the trophy in March for her photograph of Rihane’s autumn/winter 2008 collection.
