We would have recommended the Baleno only if you were extremely particular about the price. Since you do have the budget, go for the City. The Honda is a brilliant car to buy, especially since you commute 50 km a day.  It's fuel efficient, yes, but it is also comfortable, safe and new-age. We have not tested the Fusion yet, so we cannot help you there. However, remember, the Fusion is more like a smallish UV rather than a sedan.  Set the standards  We are planning to buy a new car. Our budget is up to Rs 9 lakh (ex- showroom Thane). The cars we have shortlisted are the Honda City, Chevrolet Optra 1.6, Hyundai Elantra and Toyota Corolla
