Summer camp: an inescapable annual ritual to which we all were bundled off, together with a host of unfamiliar faces. Unceremoniously thrown into the "rough and tough" of things, we huffed and puffed our way through.

In retrospect, a few sessions of pre-camp training to prepare for the sudden adventure wouldn't have hurt. Over the past few years, IAMAS (International Academy of Mountaineering and Allied Sports) has been doing exactly that
