Moynat's new store in Paris which expresses the values of a timeless luggage brand better than any other store, and their book MOYNAT. Love the Oberoi hotel's sheer whiteness and space in Gurgaon.

Only drink wine, but sometimes a Caipirinha works well too

Brunello di Montalcino or a classic Bordeaux

My sports cycle when I was eight years old. My first holiday, 20 years ago, to Havelock, Andamans

I am sure my wife would say the diamond earrings. I would say the annual gifts I give to my children to go on a holiday with the whole family.

What food items do you like to shop for?
Only desserts and wines and cheeses

Where do you like to sit when being driven? Upfront with driver of back seat like a sahib?
Back seat, worse than a sahib: I love to put a pillow on one side, put my feet up and read on my iPad.

Fancy coffee or masala tea
Neither. A green tea or a Darjeeling black tea. A glass of water would also do very well.

Are you a beach or mountain person?
Beach for sure

Your favourite city?
Too many: Pondicherry, Hong Kong, San Francisco, Firenze.

You get your work clothes from
It's easy: jeans from Diesel, G-Star Raw or True Religion. Linen shirts from anywhere, lately Massimo Dutti

The shoemaker you trust your sole with?
Wearing Bikkembergs today. Will be Hidesign soon.

Your favourite evening wear?
Same as day, might change to a black shirt or a black T-shirt

What's your weekday breakfast like? And weekend?
A bowl of pomegranates, apples, a glass of freshly squeezed musambi juice, one whole grain toast with olive oil and wild honey . Weekends it is pancakes, French toast and waffles.

Your current set of wheels
My 1977 Bullet, which I use in Auroville. Any company car will pick me up to bring me to the office and Atelier.

Your workout regime
Warm-ups and stretches, the staircase machine, weights for upper body, stomach and back exercises on the mat, and meditation. All of 40 minutes.

Your ideal holiday
A do-nothing beach, or eat-and-drink wine area such as Tuscany or Burgundy.

So many beautiful women around. Of the well-known ones, maybe Priyanka Chopra and Scarlett Johansson.
