The National Innovations Council (NIC) will hold the first ever global press conference on twitter tomorrow under the chairmanship of Advisor to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on public information infrastructure and innovations, Sam Pitroda.
The global press meet will be part of the Second Global Innovation Roundtable being organised in Delhi from tomorrow, an official statement said.
The NIC was set up by Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in 2010 to help implement strategies for inclusive innovation in India and preparing a roadmap for Innovation in 2010-2020.
The second report of the Council on the progress made in this regard will be released on November 2. Sam Pitroda will host the conference from his twitter handle @pitrodasam. The conference will start from 1900 hrs Indian Standard Time.
