Rexam HTW, a joint venture between Rexam Plc, UK and Hindustan Tin Works Ltd, India’s only 2 piece can manufacturer today launched India’s first ever 500ml can for beverage packaging in a multi crore deal.
In order to capture the growing demand of the 500ml can market, the company decided to invest for this can size in addition to the 330ml cans hereby becoming a total solution provider. The new cans will be made of steel and will be primarily used to pack beer but can also be used to pack carbonated and non-carbonated drinks. The company will supply the 2 pack sizes to the user industry from its Taloja plant.
