Acer unveils MaxMini small form PC

Acer India has launched MaxMini small form factor PC (Acer Aspire L310 series) in India.
 
Announcing this here on Tuesday, S Rajendran, GM sales and marketing, Acer India, said that the new small form factor PC is one-tenth the size of typical tower desktops and is a slim 3-litre box, portable and has power saving combined with Intel Core2 Duo technology.
 
"The technological advances of the MaxMini Acer Aspire series offers a nearly 90 per cent saving in real estate with its space saving design, and up to 65 per cent cut in your electricity bills through lowered power consumption," he added.
 
For the Indian market, the company has come out with two models -- Aspire L310 E63 series priced around Rs 39,999 and Aspire L310 E63TV series priced at Rs 49,999.
 
"The Core 2 Duo desktop processor is energy-efficient, consuming 40 per cent lesser power, while delivering the performance needed for the applications of today. Based on the revolutionary Intel Core - microarchitecture, they are designed to provide a powerful yet energy-efficient performance. Combined with the MaxMini Acer Aspire series, they give consumers a new technology experience," said Ashok Nair, Business Operations Manager, Intel Technology India.
 
The company plans to position this in select Acer Mall and large format retail stores like e-Zone.
 
"To begin with, we will target the top five cities in India though our retail and channel partners. We will concentrate our efforts in Mumbai, Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad and Delhi where office and desk space is a large constraint and where consumer experience and expectations is especially high," said Rajendran.
