Logistics major Allcargo Logistics Ltd posted 14% increase in consolidated net profit at Rs 72.5 crore for the quarter ended September 30, as compared to Rs 63.6 crore for the corresponding quarter last year. Total consolidated revenue from operations reported a marginal increase during the quarter at Rs 1468.1 crore this year versus Rs 1462.5 crore last year.
Driven largely by staggering growth in multimodal transport operation (MTO) and container freight stations (CFS), Allcargo reported 20 per cent increase in earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortization (EBIDTA) resulting into 155 basis point increase in EBIDTA margins to 9.6%.
Earning per share (EPS) for the quarter under consideration of Allcargo was Rs 5.8, for a face value of Rs 2 per share, an increase of 18% during the period under consideration.
