Amidst growing consumer acceptance, Arvind plans more Creyate stores in India, abroad
BS Reporter Ahmedabad Having witnessed growing acceptance among consumers for its first-of-its-kind digital retail experience store Creyate in Ahmedabad and Delhi, Arvind Internet Ltd (AIL) is planning more number of such stores across the country.
According to Kulin Lalbhai, Executive Director, Arvind Ltd, while stores in Bangalore and Chandigarh are already set to come up in next couple of months, the company is looking at other cities like Mumbai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Surat, among others.
"After a year, given the kind of regions where this type of store could do well, we could look at regions like the US, the UK, Germany and Japan for Creyate stores," Lalbhai added.
Elaborating on the omni-channel, Lalbhai said that while through Creyate.com, Arvind customers get to shop online, the brick-and-mortar Creyate stores offer walk-in as well as home visit shopping experience.
"Omni-channel is where multiple channels converge. Through Creyate, customers can either buy online or visit our stores or even book a home-visit for our personnel. The dedicated customised standalone factory in Bangalore then receives the design and manufactures accordingly. The unit can make upto 300 custom clothing every day," said Lalbhai.
