Asahi Songwon Colors Limited (ASCL) has registered net profit of Rs 5.23 crore for the third quarter ended December 2011, the company informed on Monday.
"Keeping in view the global slowdown, I think we have done well and we hope to gain when the pick up comes," said Paru Jaykrishna, CMD of the company.
The Gujarat-based pigment maker has registered a turnover of Rs 60.32 crore against Rs 48.11 crores in the corresponding period last financial year.
Net profit for the period stood at Rs 5.23 crore as compare to Rs 5.06 crores in the previous corresponding period last year.
