Atlas Copco board approves merger of subsidiaries

Industrial tools manufacturer Atlas Copco today said its board has approved the merger of two of its subsidiaries with itself.     

In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Atlas said the board has approved the merger of Prisma Roctols and Focus Rocbit with itself.     

The amalgamation of all the undertakings of Prisma and Focus into Atlas shall facilitate consolidation of all the undertakings in order to enable effective management and unified control of operations, the filing added.     

Shares of Atlas Copco closed at Rs 736.10, up 0.01 per cent on the BSE.
