Aztecsoft, an outsourced product development (OPD) company, has moved up by 83 spots to occupy 256th position in the prestigious 'Software 500' list published annually by Software Magazine, a reputed US-based technology publication.
 
Its strong year-on-year, revenue growth of 99 per cent has also catapulted the company to the fourth position in the Top 10 list of companies in the $30-100 million revenue category of the Software 500 ranking. Aztecsoft is the only Indian company to feature in this category, the Bangalore-based company said in a release.
 
"We are delighted by the rankings accorded to us by the Software Magazine. We only hope to enhance the growth momentum in the years to come through continuous innovations as we further consolidate our strategies in the OPD space,"said V Chandrasekaran, CEO, Aztecsoft.
 
The 24th Annual ranking released by the Software Magazine analyses the paradigm changes that could have impact on the manner in which the software services industry worldwide operates. The survey does comprehensive study of primary software business categories such as security, application development, financial applications, system integration services, content management, supply chain and IT infrastructure.
 
Earlier this year, the Bangalore-based company had won ISO 27001 and SEI-CMMi Level 5 assessment certification. Besides, the company was also ranked as the '7th Best IT Employer' in an annual survey conducted by the IDC India and Dataquest.
